The Govani Coaching Difference

At Govani Coaching we believe we are different. Of course, we all like to think we are different but at Govani Coaching our training genuinely offers something more. And that ‘more’ is The Mindfulness Multiplier©.

Our training incorporates a powerful, mindfulness-based approach particularly suited to the corporate world. This approach multiplies the impact of our executive development and employee wellbeing programmes for greatest personal and professional benefit and maximum business advantage.

As programme designer I have created each and every training programme to produce results. I have had a committed mindfulness practice since 2006 and have experienced the transformational effects of The Mindfulness Multiplier© in both my personal and professional life. Which is why I am committed to bringing mindfulness into organisations.

My corporate background means that I understand the complex challenges facing today’s businesses. I have worked in various change management and HR roles for large corporations including PwC, Goldman Sachs and BlackRock. I have learned how to ride the waves of VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity) and I know first-hand that this is a practice for life – it’s a case of ongoing learning on an ongoing journey!

I have a degree in Psychology and am presently studying for a Master’s degree in Mindfulness-based Approaches. Both disciplines provide valuable insight into human thinking, motivation and behaviour which informs every one of our training programmes. I am also proud to be featured in the book, ‘Mindfulness for Coaches: An Experiential Guide’ by Chaskalson & McMordie (2017). You can see the book here.

Supportive, open minded and insightful

"I have found Farah to be incredibly supportive, open minded and insightful. Without pre-empting my needs, she carefully probed and helped me dig deep to understand what action I needed to take and what options were open to me. This style helped me enormously to work through my career goals, at the same time maintaining a healthy focus on my wellbeing."

The right balance of professionalism and friendliness

"I improved my confidence and leadership skills and learnt how to let go of the need for perfection and be more comfortable in taking risks and coping with challenges. I moved into the sector that I have always wanted to work in.

Farah and I quickly developed a rapport and her approach worked really well for me - just the right balance of professionalism and friendliness but also able to challenge when needed."

Coaching client

Challenging yet achievable

"Farah understands real world pressures and that we all have competing priorities and therefore structures the course in a way that manages to be challenging yet achievable at the same time.

Her gentle probing, intuitive questions and calm nature helped me to develop skills that are already making a noticeable difference in my everyday life. The only advice I can offer to anyone thinking about taking the course is to do it!!"
